June Update
Throughout June the progression of work has been substantial, external brickwork is progressing and internally the schedule is moving along as planned. Please see below a list of completed and upcoming works.
June 2024 Progress:
- Flat roofing & cappings progressed further in the period
- Pool Hall Roof Acoustic Board & VCL completed and roof sheets lifted on ready for install
- Internal Masonry Complete
- SFS Complete
- Curtain Walling installed to the pool hall
- Long span cladding completed
- Continued internal Partitions & MEP to GF and Level 1
- Render commenced
- Tiling to commence
- Screed to pools completed
- Mist coating commenced
- West gable brickwork due to complete in the month
Upcoming works in July:
- Wet change wall tiling.
- Completion of pool hall roof and continue external masonry
- Commencement of pool tiling
- Continue internal works with M&E & Partitions
- Continuation of decorations
- Completion of sub-station works
May Update
Works are progressing well with substantial developments being made over the recent months. Please see below a list of completed and upcoming works.
April 2024 progress:
• Scum channels & pool surround slabs complete
• Flat roofing progressed in the period and is nearing completion.
• Pool hall roofing progressed in the period
• Intumescent paint substantially complete with soffit spraying progressing
• Internal masonry substantially complete with external masonry progressing
• SFS substantially complete to Zone 1 with the pool hall also progressing in the period
• Curtain walling substantially complete to Zone 1 with internals & pool hall to commence imminently
• Cladding continued in the period
• Commenced internal partitions
Upcoming works:
• Complete intumescent paint & soffit spraying
• Continue works to flat roofs, sports hall roof and achieve watertight milestone for pool hall roof works
• Continue external masonry to sports hall and Zone 1
• Complete SFS & curtain walling to pool hall
• Commence asbestos removal in preparation for demolition to the existing centre
• Continue internal works with M&E & partitions
Christmas Newsletter
It has been a challenging couple of months on site due to the inclement weather. Despite this, good progress has still been made. Read the full Christmas ISG Newsletter here

December Update
Despite a challenging month of wind and rain, all foundations are now complete along with steel frames and the pool construction. The 1st floor concrete slabs have been cast and good progress is being made on the below slab drainage in readiness of the ground floor slab preparation.
Keep an eye out for updates in the New Year, including the swimming pool being filled and tested!

November Update
The structure of the building for Clay Cross Active is really starting to take shape now, with the first-floor slab complete and the steel frame is almost complete.
The swimming pool is due to be filled and tested in the next few weeks which is an exciting milestone – keep an eye out for further updates on this in the New Year!

September Newsletter
We have had a busy few weeks in the ground completing foundations to allow the commencement of the steel frame. The structure of the building will really take shape between now and Christmas.
Current and Upcoming Works:
- Groundworks and drainage
- Erection of the steel frame
- Formation on the floor slabs
Please note, the existing swimming pool and gym will remain open to users.

Please note, the existing swimming pool and gym will remain open to users.
We have just begun closing the enabling works phase for this project, this included demolition, reduce level excavation and service diversions. We are now looking forward to starting the main construction works. Over the coming month the building footprint will start to take shape hopefully providing a visual representation of the building to
come.
